Game of Thrones: The Beginning
I finally started Game of Thrones. The books. Not the show. And since I am one of five people who lives in a bubble and hasn't seen the show, and even fewer who have actually read the books, I thought it would be fun to share my GOT journey with you all. But I do have to give credit where credit is due. My friend Melanie actually is the one that suggested that I blog about it. And I decided that was a fantastic idea. As most of her ideas are.
My intent is to have frequent, and short (and funny—can I say that?) posts as I read the books. I don't want to spoil it for everyone (ok, probably only 1 of you; I'm looking at you Andrea) who intends to actually read the books, so I will keep all updates here in a public, yet private (aka not-on-Facebook) setting.
Plus the world kind of sucks now, and I need a major distraction, and I have a suspicious feeling that Game of Thrones will help. Otherwise, I'm going to re-read Harry Potter again. For like the millionth time.
